I will be the first to admit that I have been really bad at keeping my new years’ resolutions. In fact, I never even started it to begin with! 5 months through the year now and starting off the 6th, and I am still nowhere near beginning my new years’ resolutions. Horrible, horrible, horrible! Maybe I should just go with a mid-years’ resolution instead so that I can get a fresh start on it today? Okay… I will do just that! Let’s hope that I keep this mid-year’s resolution… cross your fingers, people!
Speaking of, I can’t believe its June already! This year definitely flew on by and as usual, I wish it would stop or slow down a little for me to catch up with everything. I guess it usually doesn’t work like that, does it? Oh well… I should feel blessed. I do feel blessed, actually.
I think I have much more to say, but this is just an introduction to my return.

Quickie!
Check, check, and CHECK!
Yesterday was just a day full of errands.
First things first, I am officially a Californian!! For the past year, I refused to get a California ID because I didn't want to stop being a Washingtonian. However, I have to legally change my address after I move. Sure, I changed my address everywhere else except for on my driver's license. I refused! Anyway, I had to come down to it and finally get it. I'm looking forward to getting the ID and having Californian privileges (discounts to amusement parks... haha!), but I am never going to rid my Washington ID. NEVER!!
Sam got a ticket a few weeks ago (boo boo, I know). We had to go get it signed off at one place and then had to bring it to another place only to find out that it isn't even in the system yet. Sort of frustrating because he took the day off for that purpose. Oh well, at least we're almost done dealing with that. Blah.
Also finally got some stuff done to the car. Whoot whoot... I feel better about driving it now although I haaaaaaate driving with a passion. I'm one of those people who are meant to have a chauffeur. *wink wink*
After getting tons of errands done, we went on a house hunt. Yes, the house hunting is back on and its been fun. I can't wait until we finally have a house of our own. Lots of responsibilities, but I know it will be worth it.
Then, here comes baby! And no... I'm not pregnant. LOL. I want to be after we have a house though. Just sayin'!
Alright... thats all for now. I will have to come back and vent about a conversation I had with my cousin (not so little 23 year old cousin) this morning. Ugh... don't even get me started!
Okay... toodles!

Random Note To Self...
I suck at bowling!
On Friday, we went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate our buddy's birthday. Yummy Korean BBQ... true lardness, I know. Not good for my diet. Oh well... who cares, right?
We went bowling afterward and for once, I sat out on it. The last time I went bowling, I sucked so bad that I might as well not bowl. A waste of a player space and time that someone else can use. My biggest fear about bowling is is slipping and falling or accidentally throwing the ball back and hitting people. Good thing I didn't bowl because someone did end up falling and thank goodness it wasn't me. If I was to bowl, I am sure as hell that it would have been me. Good call, Thyda!
I also found myself drained and tired by 9pm. What's wrong with me? And no... I am not pregnant. This used to be the time that I wake up! Our friends joked that Sam and I have switched roles... he is now the night owl and party goer (or try to be... haha) while I just want to stay home and watch my FRIENDS DVDs (I think I am obsessed with those things). Anyway... I need to stop being all tired so early. I am still young.
WAKE UP, Thyda!!

What did I just do? Episode 1
Yesterday, I surprised my Husband with fresh spring rolls. He and I both love spring rolls but I never make them because I simply suck at it.
The ones that I rolled yesterday sucked more than I've ever made them in my life. They were loose and limpy (getting visuals yet?) and just a mess to eat. Ugh... but we still ate them and although they were ugly, they sure were yummy!
I love the spring rolls from Brodard's where they have some egg roll shells inside the spring roll to make it crunchy. I attempted to make them the same way.
Somehow,
LOL... I nearly fell to the ground laughing by myself. I wish there was a hidden camera somewhere in my kitchen because I would have loved to see my face and reaction.
I saved the fork before it got crispy, by the way! ;) Super Hero duty of the day... CHECK!

Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year, everyone!
I know that its been a very long time since I even checked up on my own blog. Sometimes, I get so caught up in what is really going on in life that I either can't find the time to blog or when I do, I just feel drained and don't do it altogether. Most of the time though, I neglect it for so long that I don't know where to start when I actually want to.
This blog is intimidating to me at times. I know that blogging should be a leisure rather than a task. Its not really a task or anything on my TO DO list, but I just feel overwhelmed whenever I turn to it at times. Usually, I have so much that I want to write about that it just takes over me and I don't start at all. I know that this sounds silly, but those who have been doing this for awhile might understand me.
Also, when life gets too busy, there is very little time left to sit down and reflect. I'm beating myself up for this now because I like documenting little things and then being able to go back and reminisce after time.
I am not very big on New Years' Resolutions, but this year, I can come up with a few. I will start with one now. In 2011, one of my resolutions is to be more consistent with my blogging. Even if the entries are private (which some are), I will take my time to blog anyway. I know that this resolution doesn't really affect anyone else but myself, but there it is in writing. One of my declarations of 2011.
With that said, I hope everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year with loved ones. May 2011 bring each and every one of you only the best in everything that you do and everything that you wish for. Most importantly, wishing you all the best of health and happiness.
*hugs*

How Rude!
So as you may already know, my Sister is now part of the blogging world. I must say that her posts are pretty amusing and I am slightly envious of the topic(s) that she chose to blog about. What a fun topic... shit that pisses you off! LOL
We are sitting on Melrose right now waiting for a meeting and thinking about her blog and the positive feedback inspired me to post something too!
I wish my life was interesting and I had more to write about!
Okay... more later... toodles!

Been BUSY!
Sorry Readers... I know I am going MIA on my blog again, but I've been pretty busy. I can't wait to get things up and going and share everything with all of you.
Right now, I am working side by side with my Sister. This should be interesting!
Will post more soon when I get a chance, but I just wanted to say HELLO!!

I Don't Wanna Grow Up!
The other day, my Husband had a golf date with some of our friends. I wasn't feeling to well that day and cancelled my plans, but decided to go hang out with the group since the lovely Wives were going to hang out too. They had Boiling Crab (those suckas) without us! Its okay though because I really thought I was going to be busy and in L.A. that day and Hubbs and I already had a yummy lunch made by yours truly. :) Anyway, we met up at the golf course and our plan was to ride around in the golf cart and catch up while the guys play. Sounds like a good plan, right? But HECK NO are we going to spend $12 a person just to ride around on a golf course. You know what we can do with $36? LOL!
Anyway, it was so nice to catch up with the girls. I feel like I haven't seen or talked to them in so long and there is always so much to catch up on. What I can tell you is that between us, there is no such thing as "T.M.I.". We sat there and talked for a couple hours with the Man working at the golf course giving us these glares that made me feel unwelcome. Oh well, it makes me want to stay there even more and longer!
When Sam texted me saying that he was on the last hole, we tried to plot a little prank on the guys. We had ALL of the car keys, so I thought it would be funny to move the car across the street and watch for their reaction when they come back and found their cars missing. BUT... we were all too lazy to do all that... too much work! So... we decided to write them sweet little notes instead. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the note, but as usual, I left my camera at home. I didn't leave the pen and notepad though... it was very handy! The note read a little something like,
We tried to hide around the buildings near that parking lot and watched them walk slowly to the car. We were so nervous... a bunch of grown ass women hiding around a community building trying to play hide and seek with their husbands. WTF? It was definitely a sight to see, though. We tried to watch for their reactions, but there wasn't a way to do so without getting caught. I tried to peek as much as I could. Eventually, we got caught with one of the guys running one direction and another one trapping us at the other end. HILARIOUS! I have a feeling that the boys are going to try to get us back, so I am definitely going to watch my back around them from now on. Taking precautions like... making sure we have the keys at all times when we hang out. ;)
Its times like these when I DON'T WANNA GROW UP! I love my friends!
Ended the night with dinner at this place called Thiptara. None of us have been there, so we wanted to give it a try. The food was pretty good... I highly recommend the Phad Thai and the Pomegranate Margarita. Definitely going back here... especially when the prices are pretty darn good. Wish we could have hung out more, but I was pooped and had an early start the next morning. C.J. really wanted us to come out that night for his birthday, but I just couldn't do it knowing that I had to leave the house around 5:30am the following morning for a day long photoshoot. We owe him dinner and a drink. Its about time we reunite though.
I had a great weekend with my lovely friends here in California. I must say that I am adjusting here pretty well. Things are certainly looking up for me.
*hugs*

Lebanese Food, Ice Cream, Movie... ahhh!
The other night, I went out to dinner with some of the girls. This just doesn't happen enough, I tell you! We went to Sunnin Lebanese Cafe. It was my first time having Lebanese food and I must tell you... I kinda like it!
I think we stayed there so long that the waitress was just waiting for us to finally leave. We couldn't help it... we had lots to catch up on, okay? We figured the night is still young and we wanted to still do more. Its been awhile since we had all seen a movie, so we wanted to check out what all the hype about The Social Network was.
Before that though, we had to stop by Rite Aid to pick up some Thrifty Ice cream!
We each chose a flavor that we would share... can you guess who chose what? Or... can you guess which one is mine? The manly hands totally gave it away, huh? HAHA! Oh... and I had to pick up a 30 ounce bag of Sour Patch Kids, of course! Why would I pay twice as much for 1/10th as much at a movie theater? DUH! Thank goodness I decided to bring one of my big purses that night. The other girls still insisted on some sour belts at the candy store next to the theater, which was totally fine... and I got to ask the owner of the store if he wanted to buy my bag of Sour Patch Kids for his store. HAHA! I mean... I payed $5.99 for my 30 ounce bag and he was selling his candies for practically $9.95 a pound. I had nearly 2 pounds in my bag! He ended up asking me where I bought my candy and I told him. He laughed and said that we were silly kids. Uhmmm... Sir, I am about to turn 26. He didn't believe me and when I showed him my I.D., he seemed shocked. Of course, he was probably only pretending to boost my ego. I gotta tell you though... it worked! LOL
I liked the movie, The Social Network, but dude... it was so long! My butt was starting to hurt! It was a total reminder of why I would rather wait for movies to come out on DVD and watch it at the comfort of my own home. Heck... with RedBox nowadays, its a dollar to rent a new movie that I can watch as many times as I want before 9pm the following day with as many people as I want. Whereas going to the theaters costs about $11 bucks to watch the movie once... per person... and it comes with a butt and back ache on the side... no extra charge! Ugh!
Next time, I will just host a movie night at my place... popcorn on yours truly!

Thoughtful Thursday - Just RANDOMS!
Don't mind the nonsense... I've just had some thoughts on my mind. Expressed a few on Twitter, but I have a couple more.
- Is it just me or do those automatic flushing sensors on toilets look like cameras? It doesn't help when there is sometimes a flashing red light like how there usually is on video cameras.
- Have you ever vacuumed but there is a stubborn string on the ground that just won't get sucked up, so you pick it up and examine it... then drop it back on the ground and try to vacuum it up again? Why don't we just throw the damn string away since we already bent over to pick it up and examine it?
- When I am at a store and I am in front of a regular manual door, I go out of my way to walk further to get to the automatic door. Am I really THAT lazy to push or pull the damn door?
- Am I the only one who feels super proud and excited when I pull out a potato chip out of the bag that is in perfect condition? I feel like I hit the jackpot or something, only to crumble it up in my mouth a few milliseconds later.
- I like to hold doors for people who are a little further away and I giggle to myself when I see that I made them run a little bit to get to the door. HAHAHA... sorry, I just got a visual.
- WHY is Ginger Spice the only spice that is a real spice? WTF is Posh Spice, Scary Spice, Baby Spice, and Sporty Spice? She should be HOT Spice... makes more sense, right? o_O
- (Had this one on FB a long time ago and my friends thought I was sick for wondering, but...) How does Edward deal with Bella when she's on her period?
- How come Mario can run through brick walls, but dies when touched by a turtle??
My Thoughtful Look... Thinking Headband and All! :P

Returning Soon!
If I got a nickel for every time I said that I was going to come back and post more, I'd have almost a dollar by now... or at least 50 cents!
Its been a pretty busy ride for me. But if you were to ask me what I've gotten done, the answer is probably "nothing". Nothing extravagant or praise thirsting, that is. This is going to be one crazy and fun-filled summer and it already started before I was even ready! Have you noticed that when you hope for time to stand still or at least slow down, it just seems to speed up even faster than it did before you asked it to turn down the pace? I guess time and life is just as hard headed as I am.
These past few months, I've learned a lot about people closest to me, which includes myself. I learn new things about myself everyday and I have to admit that I didn't know myself as well as I thought I did. I still surprise myself at times (and yes, I do jump).
Well, I promise to come back and elaborate on everything I have been meaning to for the past few months. I just got an email today that excite me and made me realize that I should keep up with my blog more than I have been lately. The number of readers I have still amazes me. For awhile, I thought that no one read my blogs, but as the time goes by, I've noticed that I would get more responses on my posts (no matter how meaningless). Also, the messages/emails/tweets that you readers send me are constant reminders that I am not really writing or talking to myself... I am talking to you! Thanks for listening, by the way. I honestly don't know why I stopped writing (publicly). There's a part of me that somewhat wishes that my blog was anonymous and no one knew who the author behind this blog was so that I can be free to write and say whatever I want without stepping on toes. But on the contrary, I love getting responses and comments from YOU (readers and responders) who let me know when I am out of line or when they concur. Its those comments that remind me that I am human and my opinion is sometimes not the best, but I also have my moments when there are others who have already walked the path that I am about to start on or are currently on the same journey as I am. And THAT is what makes it much more fun.
I have been blogging for years and years... it may not have been here on blogspot.com, but it had been everywhere you can imagine. My friends used to make fun of me or think that I was silly for doing so... and often teased me fore spending too much of my time doing it. Whats funny is that all of a sudden its the new "in" thing and there is so much hype about it when I was just getting over it. I feel that blogs are a way for you to express yourself, not attempts to impress others. Oh well... we all write with different purposes and I shouldn't let others' purposes turn me off and away from mine.
Before I ramble about sweet nothings like I usually do, let me sign off and take a breather before I get back into my blogging streak. Talk to you soon!

I Did It!
Please don't mind any typos or junk... blogging from my phone is a lot of work, but I'd do it for you!
Wow... its been a very long while since I have posted anything here, hasn't it? At the end of March, I decided to take a short hiatus from my blog and focus on what I mentioned in one of my prior posts... job hunting. Its been quite a ride and still, I have no job to my name. I'm hopeful though... I just walked out of my third round of interview with a company that I would love love love to work with. This is a very long process, and I just hope that it all works out for the better and its all worthwhile. I've never had to go through so many rounds of interviews before in my life and never have I had to hold my breath for so long. Hopefully soon, I can breathe freely and happily.
About my hiatus, it wasn't meant to be this long... I set a goal for a month and that was it. In fact, I didn't even know if I can do it or not. Needless to say, I exceeded that month goal and a few days. Thank you to my sweet readers who messaged me, text messaged me, emailed me, facebooked me, tweeted me, you guys are awesome! Its those little messages that I get from you's that brighten my day and remind me that there are people out there who are listening to what I have to say... no matter how pointless or silly it could be. *hugs* I've missed you all too. I've also neglected my Google Reader and for those who use it, you should know that it might take forever and a day for me to get caught up. Don't get me wrong... I love to read your posts and thoughts and I will get to it, I promise. It might take a little longer, but I will get to it. Don't mind me if you see a comment from me that is about a month behind... you know the deal. :)
So here I am sitting at a Starbucks in Los Angeles just taking a little break before I hit the road back home. Its nice to be out here, but I guess LA residents prefer The Coffee Bean over Starbucks. I've never had The Coffee Bean, but I guess I will have to give it a shot. According to Yelp, its better than Starbucks? Well I must say... a lot of coffee shops are better than Starbucks, but I had this gift card that was just waiting to be used. :)
Enough about my ranting... this is sort of blah. Many many more posts coming and I have a product review and giveaway that needs to be done. Be on the look out for that! :) This past month was very eventful and I had lots that I wanted to say and share with all of you. Now, it seems so long ago and a blur... and I don't remember much of it, really. Time really does fly and again, the title of my blog is SO fitting. Cherish the Moments.
Wow... its been a very long while since I have posted anything here, hasn't it?

Pointless and Random... SERIOUSLY.
So... I think my interview went pretty well. It was for something that I have never done, so I am excited and nervous to hear back from them. I don't want to say too much about it because I would hate to jinx myself. You know what they say... "don't count your chickens before they hatch". I'm crossing my fingers and toes and hoping that I get the job. Thank you readers and friends for the good luck wishes! Much appreciated! *hugs*
As I was walking towards my apartment, sprinklers on both sides of me came on suddenly and I got pretty soaked. Good thing I was heading HOME and nowhere else. It was such a hot and beautiful day that I didn't mind it too much. In fact, I got inside and couldn't help but laugh! Again, it looked like it could have been a scene from a movie! :)
My sweet Husband brought me to get something that I loooooove... sushi! My two favorite rolls are still the Sexy Girl Roll (love the name) and the Unpopular Roll (I wanna make it popular).

Sexy Girl Roll - shrimp tempura and jalapeno on the inside, wrapped with mango and topped with a sweet and spicy sauce, masago, green onion, and crunchy flakes
Unpopular Roll - fried albacore, wrapped with avocado - don't know the sauces atop, but it was delish!
We ate so much because we ordered two of each and then some! LOL! Also decided to share a pitcher of beer, which took forever to finish. I don't like the taste of beer, but I'd drink it just because... haha! I am really lightweight now and got a bit tipsy after just one cup. Lame, I know. It took us forever to finish the pitcher! The Lakers game was on (they lost) and surprisingly, I was getting into it too. I guess the Lakers fan in Sam rubbed off on me and I somewhat am into the games too now. I used to never watch any sports on TV and can only pay attention when I am actually at the games, but I guess I am learning. I miss having a home team to cheer for (Seattle Supersonics). I really hope we get them back so they can whoop these Lakers' ass and I can start talking smack to the guys here. Haha! Maybe thats why people don't like watching games with me on TV because I talk too much... too much smack. OH... and I usually like to go with whichever team they are opposing just for a little competition and laugh. I know I will get my butt kicked one of these days. I'd better watch out!
Anyway... we came home and took a nap and then actually hit the gym together! We tried to let the food set and sleep off our tipsiness (is that a word?), but I didn't sleep and watched "Say YES To The Dress" instead. Sam woke up drunk... but he is a trooper and agreed to go to the gym anyway. I didn't get to run the distance I had in mind because that beer was starting to come back up and was settling in my throat (gross, I know)... but I was so close! Hey... at least I tried!
AND.... I can't believe this! Even after the free panties I got last month and even after their 7/$25 panties sale, Victoria's Secret STILL sent this to me:
Really though... what are they trying to say? That I need more underwear? Not that I am complaining because I love free stuff and you already know I will be redeeming mine... but seriously? LOL! I hope they send me one every few weeks. Thanks in advance, Victoria's Secret Angels!
Its the kids' spring break back at home and I wish I was there to spend the time with them. I am secretly jealous of my Sister who lives so close to home (well, not really... a good three hours) and gets to visit them often. I'm glad she is there though because we get along and she usually tells me what is going on back at home that my Mother tends to not tell me. It used to be the other way around when I lived at home. Haha! I miss my Family... AGAIN. I also miss my friends. I haven't really seen any of them since I've been back. I've also just been lazy and just wanna lay around at home and watch movies with my Husband every evening and fall asleep early... or really late after a very loooong conversation laying in bed. I like having someone to talk to every night. Actually, I like having someone to talk to at all times! :)
Tomorrow is my first ever Yelp Elite event! I'm soooo excited to take advantage of the free food and drinks and from the looks of it, there are going to be so many different businesses there catering to us "Elites". I've heard great things about these parties, so that is why I am sooooooo excited! Eeeep! I mean... Yelpppppp!!
Okay... I know this post was probably meaningless and pointless, but oh well! The randoms of me! Have a great day, everyone!

Do you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth?
WHY do people fake the funk? WHY do they put on an act like they care or are interested in what you have to say? WHY do they have to put on a show like they are the greatest of people and care so much about you when in actuality, they really don't give a damn about what you are going through? WHY? WHY? WHY?
I guess I am just growing very annoyed by those who are self absorbed and don't really genuinely care about others like they claim to be. They are in it all for themselves. I know it... and they know it.
If someone really listens to what you have to say, then they would understand what you are going through and where you are coming from. Smiling and nodding does not make you a great listener or someone that I would want to go and talk to. When the conversation isn't about you, it would be nice if you make it a little less obvious that its going through one ear and straight out the other. Its rude... and it is really wasting my time. If what I say is just "blah, blah, blah" to you, then why do you even bother? Oh yeah, thats right... you must be brushing up on your acting skills. One thing is for sure... you got that "the world revolves around me" and "my shit doesn't stink" role down to a T. You're so good at it... a natural, even.
Arghhhh... !
So... how does everyone like their morning coffee? Black and bitter... or creamy and sweet? I usually like mine creamy and sweet, but this morning's just black and bitter.

Sunny Sunday Funday... MAYBE.
Yesterday was such a loooooooong day! I originally had a date with a few of my girlfriends to go see Alice in Wonderland at the El Captain theater. I had already seen it with Sam, though... and some of the other girls couldn't get out of some of their other engagements so we sort of canceled. Thank goodness because I was trying to figure out how I was going to stop myself from poking myself in the eye or stabbing myself trying to watch it a second time. Am I the only person in the world who didn't like it? Well, I've never really liked the story of Alice in Wonderland to begin with, so... I should have known. OH... and the 3D portions was for about 3% of the movie. I would NEVER see this movie again. Sorry to all the Alice in Wonderland fans... thats my truth.
Sam had to work a 12 hour shift. Poor guy... and then on top of it, he had to stay another hour behind. Grrr... what are they doing to my Husband? He had called me in the afternoon to tell me that he was bringing me out on a dinner date (yay). So... I got ready and waited. I got bored while waiting and this is the result of that:
He finally got home and to be honest, I was so lazy and didn't really care to go anywhere anymore... I just wanted to crack open a bottle of Riesling and watch FRIENDS. Yup... thats what I find enjoyable nowadays. Boring, right? Anyway... we went out to dinner anyway because Sam had bought a gift certificate type of thing from restaurant.com that we needed to use before it expires. Food was decent, but I would never want to go there during that hour again because the music is too loud and we couldn't even hear each other speak. We were frustrated and I had to stop myself from marching up to their sound booth or whatever and turn down the volume. I just wanted to get out of there. Don't get me wrong... I'm appreciative of Sam trying to be sweet and bring me out on dates, but now we just learned that its not really a good place for date night.
I think I ate a bit too much for my own good because I came home and passed out in my makeup and contacts. So much for my resolution of showering in the evenings and always taking off my makeup at night, right?
My Sister is coming over tonight to pick up her license plate tabs that I got for her from WA. Yeah, her license plate is still a Washingtonian... just like we are. Always and forever, baby! She asked if I want to join her and her former coworkers for dinner and drinks. I am torn because I would love to go, but I am just lazy and don't want to interfere on them catching up. I have this tendency to change subjects and blurt out random things and that would be RUDE of me to do it to strangers who might have real things to talk about. However, I could go and network... bat my eyelashes and release some of my charm on them and maybe they'd hook it up with a job? I hope and I pray and I wish and I hope. To go... or not to go?
I told myself that I was going to go jogging this morning. Instead, I am sitting here in bed watching people run in the LA marathon. Does that count? o_O

Sunshine Award...
Catching up on my Google Reader all day and I found such a pleasant surprise! Madi at short shorts & sunshine awarded me with the "Sunshine Award"!!
I've never gotten a blog award before, so I was just THRILLED!! I was on the verge of skipping all my reads, but something told me that something good was in there and I was missing out on it. This MUST be it. :)
Now, I am going to have to pass this award on to Winniepedia because her blog always makes me giggle because it always reminds me so much of me. And you know... anyone who is anything like me MUST be cool! :P OH... and I can always count on her to let me know when I should get new underwear. *giggles*
Thanks again, Madi... and great goin', Winniepedia!!

Catching my breath...
I'm home. Actually, I've been home. I have two homes... one in Washington and one in California. Home is where the heart is and right now, my heart is split and remain in both places. Its tough having parts of your heart over a thousand miles apart.
I have so much that I want to say and share about my visit to my Washington home. I just don't know where to start and sometimes, I am filled with more emotions than I can find words to describe. However, I promise myself to try my best to jot it all down... even if some entries have to be private, I WILL jot it ALL down.
Since I've been back here in California, I'm just DRAINED. I don't know if its because I am missing my Family back at Washington home or if I am just worn out from running around trying to do too much during my much needed and too short of a stay.
Today was spent trying to catch my breath and unpacking and organizing. Right now, I am heading to the gym to sweat out some stress and anger (some of it built up from tonight's basketball games) with my Husband. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much more productive and expressive day.
Until then,

If you need entertainment... THE GYM!
So we all know that my rendezvous with the gym doesn't happen very often. There are times when I am on rolls and hit the gym every day for at least three days straight (hey... thats a lot and an accomplishment for me). Since I've moved down to California though, it had not happened after many failed attempts because the gym that I have a membership with is too far and by the time we drive down there, it would be a workout in itself.
Finally though, Sam added me to his family membership thingy (although I still have my membership that is still withdrawing money... $30 every month for the past 8 months I haven't been there... what a dumb ass I am for not canceling... still not canceling but yet have the time to sit here and blog about it). We hit the gym two days straight... whoo hoo! That streak has to end because I am leaving today for almost a week. LOL... yep... another excuse! Anyway... I was so entertained and learned a whole lotta.
Oh man... two days at the gym and I am already b*tching about it. This is NOT a good sign.
The upside to the gym? I get to buy clothes and shoes with a new excuse, "to go to the gym".
I've tried many and this is one of my favorite work out shoes... or running shoes:

- If you want to know the latest middle aged Cambodians of Long Beach gossip, just spend some time in the womens' locker room. I swear, within three minutes of peeing and washing my hands, I learned about a Husband cheating on his wife, a Sister who lost her house due to gambling, and another cousin who is upset at her friend for borrowing her car and getting it in a wreck. Holy crap... I couldn't help but giggle walking out of there. Not because of others' misfortune, but because I couldn't believe the information I heard in only two minutes. If I was to post the actual conversation in both languages, you'd have a good giggle too.
- Ladies, if you are going to wear tight pants while working out, do not stray to lighter colors. In fact, to hopefully stay on the safe side, stick to black pants. After an intense 20 minute workout on the bike where your back and buttcheeks are pressed against the chair is bound to make you sweat. We do not need to know where you sweat, but the sweat stain on your crack is just screaming at us as you walk away. And yes, we are looking... we are ALL looking since our machines all face the same direction that you are walking towards.
- Wearing makeup to the gym is not going to make you look cute. In fact, if you really are there to work out, then it will make you look worse... will make you look dirty. I can understand if you just left work and you still have some makeup on, but please don't make it too obvious that you just spent at least 15 minutes of your workout applying it. Its obvious and yes, we can tell. If you are there only to look cute and not break a sweat, then apply away!
- PLEEEEEEASE wash your hands after the gym. Its gross. All those sweaty palms... and some of the guys who need to move around in their shorts (if you know what I mean)... all grabbing and touching and sweating their germs on the same machines that you are going to be grabbing next. Ick!
- Deodorize. Please. I don't care how much you think the fan on that treadmill will prevent your sweat, you WILL sweat. And even if you can't see yourself sweating, the people next to you can smell you sweating. Please, please, please.
Oh man... two days at the gym and I am already b*tching about it. This is NOT a good sign.

I've tried many and this is one of my favorite work out shoes... or running shoes:
Asics Gel Kayano 13
I think I am due for a new pair because mine has been through quite a bit. Surprisingly, I might just get the same ones in a different color. (although I kinda like that Periwinkle color) Yeah, they are that good for me to want them again.
OH OH OH... and I got an invitation to be a Yelp Elite! LOL... I responded with a YES, YES, YES... and now waiting on approval from the higher beings in San Francisco. Wish me luck... I've been wanting to attend these Yelp parties with FREE FOOD for awhile. LOL... I'm serious.
SO much to do today and I promised myself to stay off the computer as much as I can. My To Do list seems never ending, but I guess its what I get for procrastinating. My plane leaves right when Sam is off work. Yikes!
Okay... maybe I will be back after cleaning, packing, cleaning, organizing, leaving things for Sam to work on and preparing a lot of his lunches and dinners (or try to). We shall see but wish me luck!

I Want You...
For some reason, I still want this thing:
I know it will NEVER happen (look at the price tag that it comes with), but its okay to dream, right?
But damn... you know what I can do with that money? A whole lotta...!!
I wonder if Santa Clause can hear me yet. He needs to work more days than just one and dammit, finally find me at the correct address this time! Grrr...! (I know he had gifts for me the past 25 years, he just got lost along the way. I forgive him... maybe.)

What a MORNING its been already!
My Husband left his coffee at home today. I was in my pink striped pajama bottoms and his purple T-Shirt (I like wearing his clothes to sleep in) and flip flops... chasing another man who looked like my Hubbs down the street yelling at him to wait up. LMAO... I was totally embarrassed, but it really did look like a scene from a movie. I wish I can redo it all over exactly how it went and have someone record it. If ever I become a movie director (how cool), I am going to throw this scene in there just because. OH... and then on my way back to my apartment, this older man said 'Good Morning' to me and asked, "aren't you cold?". Yeah, I was... but whatever. Then about an hour after being back in my room, I realize that he probably asked that because I was in a T-Shirt... without a bra. o_O Next time, I'll grab a sweater quickly.
So now, I am enjoying his coffee like this:
Okay maybe not exactly like that, but its pretty neat, right? Thanks Betty! :D
Anyway... I still haven't picked up my panties yet because I didn't really want to leave the house. Today might be THE day.
I was going through some old pictures as I am working on building teedaloo.com (if you haven't checked it, you should... and if you haven't subscribed or in Google's words, "followed" the blog yet, you also should. blog.teedaloo.com ), and I came across an old picture. Its pretty cool and it makes me itch for a photoshoot session.
How my Photographer did it, I don't know... but I really love it. :) I miss my good ol' photoshoot session days. I don't think I could ever have a real photoshoot with my Husband though because its just sort of weird. I can't stop myself from making faces at him, and he hates when I make faces at his camera. Eh... no fun! I don't know how to get serious around him. Weird, I know.
Speaking of photography, I think its such a good skill and talent to have. I have quite a bit of Photographer friends and all of their work is just amazing! I actually just featured one of them on Teedaloo! Check it out: Lok In The Moment at TeeDaLoo.com
Back to working... what I am working on? Who knows? BUT... I am and will be a busy bee!
