What a MORNING its been already!

My Husband left his coffee at home today. I was in my pink striped pajama bottoms and his purple T-Shirt (I like wearing his clothes to sleep in) and flip flops... chasing another man who looked like my Hubbs down the street yelling at him to wait up. LMAO... I was totally embarrassed, but it really did look like a scene from a movie. I wish I can redo it all over exactly how it went and have someone record it. If ever I become a movie director (how cool), I am going to throw this scene in there just because. OH... and then on my way back to my apartment, this older man said 'Good Morning' to me and asked, "aren't you cold?". Yeah, I was... but whatever. Then about an hour after being back in my room, I realize that he probably asked that because I was in a T-Shirt... without a bra. o_O Next time, I'll grab a sweater quickly.

So now, I am enjoying his coffee like this:

Okay maybe not exactly like that, but its pretty neat, right? Thanks Betty! :D

Anyway... I still haven't picked up my panties yet because I didn't really want to leave the house. Today might be THE day.

I was going through some old pictures as I am working on building teedaloo.com (if you haven't checked it, you should... and if you haven't subscribed or in Google's words, "followed" the blog yet, you also should. blog.teedaloo.com ), and I came across an old picture. Its pretty cool and it makes me itch for a photoshoot session.

How my Photographer did it, I don't know... but I really love it. :) I miss my good ol' photoshoot session days. I don't think I could ever have a real photoshoot with my Husband though because its just sort of weird. I can't stop myself from making faces at him, and he hates when I make faces at his camera. Eh... no fun! I don't know how to get serious around him. Weird, I know.

Speaking of photography, I think its such a good skill and talent to have. I have quite a bit of Photographer friends and all of their work is just amazing! I actually just featured one of them on Teedaloo! Check it out: Lok In The Moment at TeeDaLoo.com

Back to working... what I am working on? Who knows? BUT... I am and will be a busy bee!

Until next time,

CROSSPOST: When is a good time to say Goodbye?

(I just HAD to cross post from blog.teedaloo.com )

How often do you replace your makeup?

If you're anything like me, then you are probably a little embarrassed to answer this question. Am I right?

Supposedly, lipstick is supposed to be tossed after one year... after two years at the very most, but that is really pushing it. Mascara should be tossed after 3 to 4 months of use. Foundation goes bad after a period of time, but it really depends on what type of foundation it is. But come on... who really follows all of these rules?

Lipstick can run up to $20 (and up) per tube. BUT... how do we stick to only one tube? Personally, I like to buy a lot of cosmetics just to test it out and it takes awhile to find ones that I really love. Different occasions call for different lipsticks. A red tube may look perfect when paired with a sexy little black dress for a special night, but you can't really expect anyone to wear the color to the office Monday-Friday, can you? (No offense to those who do) If I buy a tube of lipstick for... lets say... $14 and I have worn it about 3 times all year, then no way in hell am I going to toss that little sucker. I want to get my money's worth!

A tube of mascara can easily run up to nearly $40 per tube (hence DiorShow... which I love). BUT... I also have other mascaras that I like to use... again, for different occasions. I am not going to toss my mascara that I've used about 5% of... I don't care if its past the three months mark, I am keeping it!

Maybe some of you might think that its gross or whatever, but thats fine... I'm not forcing you to use my cosmetics.

I like to get my money's worth on everything that I buy... and that includes makeup. Although I may not toss my beloved tubes after a few months, I know when its time to let it go. If I am on the verge of adding different types of liquids to any of my makeup to moisten it, I know its time to say goodbye.

After writing this post, I think I ALMOST came to my senses that I should give myself time lines as to when I am allowed to buy certain products. Maybe that will be my new project this upcoming week? (Go through all of my makeup and part ways with some)

So lets hear it... how long do you keep your makeup for? Are you guilty of saving the goodies longer than you should? What is the product that has been in your drawer the longest and WHY is it still there?

This should be interesting!

TeeDaLoo... the BLOG

As you may already know, I've started a little something something of my own and am really enjoying the learning process and sharing what I know with the world (or at least those who visit).

It may not be the best website out there right now, but I can honestly say that it is something that I have put a lot of work into and am very proud of. No worries though, it will continue to grow into much more.

Check it out and if it covers the goods that you are into and interested in, don't forget to subscribe and follow the blog here: blog.teedaloo.com

Until next time, teedaloo!!

What to do, Teedaloo!!

For anyone who is curious, its back up! :D

I know, I know... its a work in process and its not completely finished, but you get the idea. I should have done this a long time ago. Its not the best thing out there, but I am pretty darn proud of it considering the fact that I learned how to do everything myself and had enough patience to put it all together. Its pretty interesting and as I might have mentioned before, its pretty mind boggling!

I would really appreciate input and some feedback, if possible. Give it to me... I can take it!

Please note that this is solely for fun (and it IS fun) and for my entertainment and anyone else who may come across it and are interested in some of the things that I am interested in.

Anyway,

To Do: Teedaloo!

Last week, I presented my "project". It was nowhere near being finished but I said SCREW it and decided to share it a little bit.

I got a lot of good responses after people saw what it could be, and also got a lot of feedback from friends. THANK YOU to those who gave the feedback because that is exactly why I shared it in the first place. I wanted to see how others saw it because my opinion doesn't matter as much as other viewers' and I was at a roadblock with ideas and designs. I'm learning a thing or two and actually putting it to work and I am enjoying every moment of it.

I took it down. I know I could have still had it up while working on it, but I knew that it would have been too big of a distraction. I needed to focus on getting it done and so far, so good. I'm loving others' suggestions and input and applying it to the revised and hopefully here to stay version.

Please, give me more feedback. Thats all I want right now.

As you can see, this is taking up a lot of space on my To Do list... and thats okay!!

Alrighty... a more personal blog entry to follow. Hold up!

Teedaloo!

Because its another weekend where I probably won't do too much to it anyway, here is my little project that I've been toying with. Go ahead and laugh... but I sure made my brain do a few exercises in the process and it was fu-uhn! And as Cindy Lauper said, "Girls just wanna have fu-uhn!"
