Okay. Its been a few days since I've posted in here. Let me just take a few minutes (okay more than a few since I am on my phone right now) to update!
On Wednesday night... Sovina surprised us and brought us to Pirates Dinner Adventure for her birthday!! It was so thoughtful of her because we've never been. So much fun!!! We all really enjoyed ourselves there with a bunch of little kids! Of course they needed volunteers from the audience and all four of us happened to be the lucky chosen ones. Sovina and I were teamed up and we were in this competition with some other teams and of course, we won!!! Haha! The actors/entertainers were SO talented. I was beyond mesmerized! Ahhh! Thanks Sissy for such a wonderful time!
Last night, we went out to Mai Tai bar with Sam's coworkers and of course, Sovi came to my rescue and kept me company again! One of Sam's coworkers celebrated her birthday there and she complained on how she felt old and she just turned 24! What the heck! I admit... I still think 24 is old and am not accepting the fact I am turning 25 so soon. No way, jose!!
I got them drunk off my games... as usual! Those games are evil. I do need to come up with some new ones though! LOL!
We walked over to Gameworks and met up with Aida, her BF who is visiting from France, and his friend. They were so into video games... Unbelievable! We made our way to the karaoke lounge there and sang a few of my karaoke favorites. Then suddenly the manager at Gameworks brought us some yummy sangrias and said it was on the house. Sam and Jordan were sitting behind us, but I don't think the dude knew that those were our guys. Haha! Oops!
Finished it off with yummy spicy duck fried rice... came home and knocked the heck out! Ahhhh!
I've been working on a little project of mine and I swear... my brain is toasted! Sam came home and took the laptop away from me... it was THAT bad! I needed a break anyway.
Now... gotta get ready for dinner and Guppy's with the ladies! Its been awhile since we sat down and caught up with each other so I'm really excited!! Oh... And I've been thinking of brick toast and shaved ice all week long, its ridiculous!!

Enjoying California...
This past week, Sam had been working some night shifts. Boo! It was hard for me to sleep at night so I usually waited up for him. My sleeping schedule is all messed up! Today, he actually went to work at a normal hour at 8am, but not on such a normal day (Sunday). Sucks. His schedule is going to be a little crazy, but I really can't complain since he's the one taking care of everything at the moment.
Job searching sucks. Well, I never imagined it to be easy during a recession like this. Ugh. What to do? What to do? I am still brainstorming and trying to figure out my career path at the moment. Its driving me nuts!
So... to somewhat keep me sane, thank goodness I've been surrounding myself with good company. The other night while Sam was at work, I hosted a little dinner at my place for a few of the girls. We had so much fun and ate a little bit too much for our own good! Had a bit too much wine too, but we'll leave that part out! :D
Yesterday was Sam's first day off ever since I got back from Vegas (YAYYY!). So what did my wonderful Husband decide to do? Take me shopping!! Actually, he did more shopping for himself than for me (to be fair, I shop ALL the time whereas he never really had time to shop, so I guess its okay). Then, he brought me out to get some sushi and sake bombs! Oh man... I had a bit too many but they were so cheap (we coincidentally got there for Happy Hour). Next thing you know, his coworkers came in! I've already met them and one of them still teases me about my Twilight obsession that I admit to have grown out of after all the overrated hype. Anyway... after a delicious dinner, we came home and spontaneously hosted another night in for our friends (very last minute). I was a terrible hostess and actually passed after a couple rounds of drinking games that I was hosting... what the heck! Who does that? Anyway... I guess the night wasn't over until 5am almost 6am and Sam had to work at 8am! Meaning... he had about an hour of sleep and is working a full 8 hour shift right now. How he does it? I have no idea! He's amazing! :D
Okay... better clean the place up and put some of my clothes and new purchases away before he comes home in an hour. Yikes!
Beach time later? MAYBE!

Miso Heppy!!
So glad I went out to Happy Hour with the girls tonight. I was extremely late and if I was them, I would have kicked my ass! LOL!
It was fun catching up, but I swear I could have stayed there a few more hours. I ate too much for my own good. I feel so bad! I ordered so much sh*t because I figured we'd just have separate bills like we usually do. Little did I know that they didn't let me pay for jack sh*t... not even a dime! Seriously... I think I ordered like 10 plates by myself! Ugh! Luckily I only had one glass of wine, or else I would have felt even more guilty. My last happy hour with the ladies before I become a married woman and I move on out of here. Damn. I know I haven't really seen them much, but it was comforting knowing that they're like... right there. What the f*ck am I gonna do now? :( They all promised they'd visit and they know that I will... so hopefully it will be alright.
Speaking of moving... I am crossing my fingers and toes tonight praying for this one. Please please pleeeeeeeeeease let this house be it so we can get on with it already. I went to IKEA today and the sale was awesome. If only I had a house to shop for already, dammit! BUT... sale ends on July 5th, so I still have 5 days to hope! Eeeek!
Need to get packin' for Cancun! I have my bikinis ready... mainly from my Bridal Shower. I love them! Ahhh... if only I knew how to swim! LOL

Leaving... AGAIN.
Oh man... what a fun filled weekend it had been! Lets see...
Wednesday - EARLY flight to LB. The Man sitting next to me was telling me how he was coming down to LB for a Square Dance Convention. How interesting! So yeah... didn't get to sleep on the plane as I had planned. My nephew picked me up and I hung out with my nieces and nephews for a bit at my Sister's house. Clogged the toilet and everything! TMI... sorry... but true story! Sam picked me up with a rose on my seat in the car. How cute and sweet he can be sometimes. Keyword: SOMETIMES. We were able to check out some houses that I had seen online. Many didn't appeal to me so much, but it was okay. I guess I can't really hope or want too much with a budget like ours and only one source of income at the moment. Oops! Sweetie Sam (he was so on a roll that day for a minute) brought me to Yogurtland but surprisingly, I wasn't feelin' it and ended up not getting anything. Instead, Cha for Tea's popcorn chicken was pretty good... but nothing compared to Guppy's!
Thursday - Dropped Sam off at work and pretty much chilled out the whole day with his Mom. Finally picked Sam up (I love his schedule, BTW) and helped myself to a French sandwich. Yumm! I can't wait to live off those things when I move down here! HAHA jk! Then, Sam went to go drop off his passport stuff and as I was waiting in the car, I heard that MJ had passed and I couldn't help but get cold chills. I was shocked and for some reason, I saw him as a twenty something year old talented Man. I never realized he was already 50! RIP MJ and Farrah Fawcett.
We tried to take a power nap, but I was too excited for Mai Tai. Sam was meeting up with his coworkers for a drink at Mai Tai, but I insisted we go earlier for the Hang Ten happy hour thingy where there are actually specials on food. Oh man... we ate A LOT! I remember when Sam gave this waitress there a twenty something dollar tip for an eighteen dollar bill. WTF. She wasn't even THAT cute! To his defense, he was drunk. WHATEVS!! LOL! Anyway... I thought we were meeting up with a few coworkers... little did I know that we were meeting up with 30 or 40 something people. I had lots of fun though. His coworkers are kind of crazy... which I like. Totally my kind of people! :D Supposedly, Sam got approval for our marriage after some of them met me. WTF. I almost asked them who the hell they thought they were where Sam needs THEIR approval. HAHA jk... totally kidding! They're cool.
Friday - We got to sleep in until like... noon! Sam didn't have to work (yay!)... but as soon as we woke up, we took care of business. Not like that, you perverts!! We went to go book our photographer for our LB wedding reception. I admit... I did not like the guy nor his work, but f*ck it. I will hold my tongue and bite my lip... and keep the bitch in me inside. Ugh. Oh well. I'll just try my best to get ALL the good shots with Lok In The Moment at the wedding in Seattle. I know I wouldn't be disappointed there. We also got Sam's and his brothers' pants hemmed... which should have been done a long time ago, but whatever. We then met up with the rest of the gang for some Korean BBQ. Yummmm! Originally supposed to go try Shabu Shabu since the Long's were ravin' about it, but it was too late and we were all too hungry to wait for the drive out there. The waiter at the Korean BBQ place probably hated us and when we were done, he said, "Finally". LOL! Cracked me up! We then called it a night because it was late and everyone was all too tired and we had to get up bright and early for the Mac <3 Hui wedding the next day.
Saturday - WEDDING Dayyyyy!! Mac and Sivhui looked GREAT and their wedding ceremony went really well! I loved how it somewhat looked like they were on a stage and the space was plenty. Oh... so Mac sent Sivhui a text message that morning and she told us about it. Of course, our nosey butts wanted to read it too, so she showed it to us. Paline, Lily, Lyna, and I couldn't make it past the fourth word in the message without starting to cry. WTF. We stopped at, "No matter what happens..." because we couldn't take it anymore. WHY are we so sappy and such babies? Haha! We finally made it through the entire message... but it was so hard not to cry. Sivhui cried again! LOL... it was cute and so sweet. Mac is officially the sweetest guy out of the group and Sam still has a lot of work to do. And I mean a lot! HAHA... jk... but not really kidding. Too bad we missed the breakfast slightly (Sam's fault... I swear), but we surely didn't miss out on the lunch! We sat at the table closest to the food (of course) and our hungry asses... we didn't even wait for all the food to come out yet before serving ourselves. The food was delish and I was somewhat in pain after eating because I ate THAT much. Oh man!
I managed to make it to the mall by myself while Sam took a nap after the ceremony looking for a dress and maybe some shoes. I ended up buying some shoes... but they weren't for the wedding (oops). Couldn't find a dress that I was too crazy about, so I ended up wearing a dress I already had. Got home about 2 minutes before the Lok's got there. Darn them for always being on time. We need to learn a thing or two from them. Mikal was smart and picked up some chicken sandwiches for us while we waited for the Long's to get there. Luckily we all ate some of it because the food wasn't served until much later. I would have been an angry camper at the reception if it wasn't for that sandwich! The wedding was beautiful! The couple was beautiful! Ahhh... it was perfect! We all went a little camera crazy... but it was fun. I can't wait to see all of the pictures! Mac made us cry again when he sang to Sivhui while they danced. Damn... where does he learn all the sweetness from? Overall, it was a great wedding and we all had so much fun! Congratulations to the beautiful couple! We predict that they will have a honeymoon baby because every family member of theirs who recently got married has a honeymoon baby! Hehe... I can't wait! Stayed up until nearly 3am just chatting with Thep and Samorn. Ahhh... I love them! :)
Sunday - CJ invited Sam to play a game with his team. I know that Sam missed playing so he just HAD to go. I didn't mind it so much... I actually enjoyed watching the game (surprisingly). They won (yahhhhh!). Then, we went out to lunch where I choked on a duck bone and Sam made me realize that I don't chew my food. LOL. I'm such a dumbass for that. From now on, I will try my best to chew my food! Then, we ran a few errands and picked up some things for the wedding. Most importantly, we picked up my wedding gown. I'm not so crazy about the overpriced (IMO) French lace, but oh well. Other than that, I love it... and Sam loves it! He didn't see me in it (he's more superstitious than I when it comes to this), but he still loved it... which made me really happy! :) Came home and Sam and I worked on our CA wedding invitations together. It was fun! He was so good at it too! I wish he would have been able to help me with the WA ones and be there to help me with favors and other little DIY projects that I need to finish. Oh well... when we live together, we'll work on little projects together often. Or so I hope!
My Sister invited us over to hers and her boyfriend's place in Costa Mesa for a little BBQ. Yummmmm! Good food and I think I ate too much because I knocked out the entire drive home and knocked out right away in my jeans and contacts and everything when we got home. LOL!
Monday - Killing time and waiting for Sam to get off work so I can go bye bye back home. Oh sh*t... I think my laundry is done! Toodle loo!

Pocket full of Sunshine!
Its going to be NICE for the rest of the week and into the weekend here at home. (Gosh... I love home!) Going to do some yardwork today and get our backyard ready for the big day. I'm so ready to sweat!
Its been awhile since I seen the girls. Happy Hour tonight and I need to get them their invitations... long overdue! I miss them. Its hitting me that I won't be a Washingtonian in only a month and few days... how am I gonna do this? Ahhh... I wish I had more time. :(
ALSO... need to go get the alcohol today. I posted something on the Sam and Thyda blog... inputs please! :)

BUSY
Man... been busy all this week and barely had time to update my blog (obviously).
It was hard to wake up and get back to the usual routine on Monday. My sleeping habit during the four day weekend was ALL jacked up and catching a cold sure didn't help. Talk about major work overload on Monday though... ugh... the downfall of having a nice, long, relaxing weekend... you come back to a stack of work that needs to get caught up or done. Bleh!
One of the girls in our office, her family owns a winery. Her dad was sweet enough to drop off some bottles of wine at the office that day along with some turkey soup that I missed out on. Most everyone who was in the office that day stayed and hung out after work over some good ol' crackers, cheese, and wine! I'm not much of a wine drinker, but Grace is! She came by earlier than our scheduled dinner/happy hour date and got to meet most of my coworkers. I think my friends would get along great with my coworkers... some of the sweetest people I could ever imagine working with! :D After a few, Nara, Sunaro, and Pearl joined us at Noc Noc... a bar just around the corner from my office. The Happy Hour there is great! Check this out... we got one whole bottle of wine, my rum and pineapple juice, and 7 appetizers for only $25! What a freakin' deal, right? And the servings were pretty big that Grace got to take some of it home with her that night... hehe! And another great thing, its right by work so whoever joins in can just park in my parking garage... thats if other cars have already left and there's parking available. My head was pounding though... and the loud music (that wasn't there the last time I was there with Nack, Grace, and Chanh) was not helping. I guess there was music and dancing (like a club) on Tuesday nights. A few of my coworkers ended up there too... and they told me the next day that they actually stayed to dance! Hehe... so funny! By the time I got home that night, I was literally crawling into bed!
Oh... I found out that I have Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st off. Freakin' A... and I am going to Vegas the weekend AFTER. Stupid! Should have better planned things. Now, if I am getting a fat bonus like I'd like to, I'm definitely going somewhere for New Years! A four day weekend doesn't happen very often, so you'd bet I'm going to take advantage of it! :D

Weekend...
If only all weekends were like this past one, I'd be drained out of my mind!
Friday was my coworker's birthday. She initially didn't want to do anything for this day because she felt that hitting the big 4-0 was nothing to celebrate... even when she looks nothing like a day past 25 and probably the youngest looking in the office... no kidding! Change of plans though... we decided to go out for drinks after work anyhow at a club/bar around the corner called, "Noc Noc". I walk past this joint every single day, and it was my first time actually going in. A pretty neat spot thats great for happy hours and a quick drink. The bartender could have sped it up a little and did something about his overly greased hair, but thats just my opinion. Anyway... it was cool to hang out with a few of my coworkers that night. They had invited me to go out with them bar/club hopping, but I declined since I didn't drive into work that day, or else I would have SO been there! After two "Sweet Action" (SO GOOD... probably my new favorite drink) and two "Chocolate Cakes" with the birthday girl and company, I was set for the night. Before leaving though, we decided to do the same for MY birthday... and they teased me for being such a youngin' that they can't keep up. Little do they know that I'm probably the first one to go out of all of them, despite the age difference. I feel like such a party pooper and homebody lately... but I don't mind.
On Saturday, it was Girls' Day Out. I never got a chance to really hang out with my sister in law without my brother for about 6 years that they've been married. She had never explored downtown and wanted some shoes, so I killed two birds with one stone. We went shoe shopping... hehe... and she went a little crazy. Natalie and Rachany tagged along... and Rachany even got a chance to draw me a picture to keep in my office. I think she liked the Mr. Sketch scented markers a little bit too much though. Anyway... we explored Westlake Mall, where we also ate and got each an umbrella since it was halfway pouring outside that afternoon. Rachany's pink umbrella was taller than her, but she insisted on being a big girl and carrying it herself anyway... it was quite a sight. I got a little crazy at Nordstrom and managed to score myself a free gift from Express for spending more than $25 that day... which is so easy to do, I can do it with my eyes closed! We also made our way down to Tiffany's... where the salesperson insisted I try on the necklaces that go with my toggle bracelet that Sam got me for our anniversary (thanks Babe!). The necklace was HUGE, and I honestly don't think that I would get much wear out of it. Thank goodness Sam didn't get that for me since he originally wanted to get that rather than the bracelet. I love my bracelet... its simple and just perfect. Besides, I already love the Journey diamond necklace he got me almost a year ago for my birthday. Yes, I'm pretty spoiled by him... oops!
We managed to stop by Sephora on the way back... and Rachany looked like she was in heaven! She picked out a hot pink lipstick that Natalie put on for her. Throughout the store, people were just pointing out how adorable she was with her lipstick and fluffy white jacket. That girl's a Thyda in the making... and her head is almost as large. Hey... at least she was polite enough to say thank you to each and everyone of them who fed her young little ego! By the time we left downtown, she was already too tired to walk and fell asleep instantly when we got back in the car. We stopped by Southcenter on the way back and I said, "Rachany, you wanna go to another Sephora... the place where they have lots of 'aw-aw' (what she calls makeup and jewelry... originating from the Khmer word, 'la-aw')?" The 3 year old got up real quick with her eyes half shut, but nodding rapidly! LOL... that girl is such a tomboy... but a girly girl at heart... I can't explain it! Anyways... I did more damage... but they were all on necessities. Needless to say, it was a tiring day full of shopping and walking... I was pooped.
Sunday, I had to pick something up in the International District for my sister. I decided it should be a fun day with the kids and I... so I took Natalie, Justin, and Kenneth with me for the ride. Afterwards, since we were already in the area, we had Teriyaki downtown... that was so so. I knew how much the kids were fascinated with trains, so I brought them on the next best thing... the monorail! We rode to Seattle Center, where it was just too cold to really enjoy the rides outdoors. We stayed in the indoors arcade there, played some games, Kenneth beat Natalie in a game of Air Hockey (he's 7... she's 13... lol), wanted to ride the Bumper Cars but the two munchkins weren't tall enough. We decided that from that day on, they'd eat more so they can grow big, strong... and tall enough for bumper cars! After awhile, we headed back to our car and headed back down south.
I noticed that Justin's hair was getting really long, so I knew he was in need of a haircut. He liked his long hair though because he had been asking me to put it in a little mohawk for him everytime we went out. He's adorable with it, but even so, it was just too long. We stopped at SuperMall on the way back and were hunting for a good place to cut his hair. There was a place that was asking for $20 for a kids' haircut. Geez louise... thats the cost of an adult's haircut and tips at some places! LOL! We found the perfect one shortly after, though. While we waited, we flipped through the magazines and Justin couldn't seem to find a haircut that he liked. Finally, I asked him, "do you want to cut your hair like Pu Sam?" He said that he didn't remember what it looked like, so I took a picture of him from my wallet and showed him. He smiled and nodded his head. Then, the lady came to ask us how we wanted his hair cut, and there I was whipping out my boyfriend's picture to show her! LOL! She said, "that's a big boy's haircut... you're a little boy!" I told her, "he wants to look like a MAN... please make him a MAN and cut it like that". So she did! Justin was nervous, yet smiling throughout. When she was done, Justin was definitely a man (who has a hard time buttoning his jeans, but thats another story!).

Isn't he handsome? (She wasn't done in this picture... obviously)
He was so proud of his haircut, that he decided he would go back to that same lady! Got home and I told my mom the story about me pulling out Sam's picture to show the hair stylist, and she laughed. My dad loved the haircut and said the lady did a great job!
I made some spaghetti with mushroom and meat sauce, but was still too full to eat. I made the kids eat though... even if they were still full, I reminded them that they want to be tall enough for bumper cars next time!
Later, we went to Barnes and Nobles where the kids read some books to me over hot chocolate. Then, it was time to come home and rest up for the short week ahead of all of us. But boy, was it a fun weekend!
:)
Happy Hour? Of course!
Last night, we had an impromptu happy hour session. Attendance? (In alphabetical order) Grace, Korbs, Nack, Sunaro, Thyda. We went to Imo's... and agreed that the food is alright, but great deals for the cost of it. You know that I was definitely happy during those two hours! Heck... I even have left overs for lunch today... yay me! Anyway... it was cool to sit down and discuss KC away from our monitors. Haha... somewhat pathetic, but it was hilarious! I forgot what some of the things said were, but I knew that they sounded almost as desperate as Many tryin' to get into the Russian girl's pants! :p

Girlfriends... Addiction.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21)
Everyone's got an opinion (or two or three) about what you should do next, but only you know what's best. Ignore everybody's input (which you didn't ask for anyway) and connect with yourself as you revamp your game plan.
I just might!
My head is inflating and I need to be pulled back down to Earth... thanks to a wonderful Photographer whom I overlooked for many years now. Thanks Nack! :)
Happy Hour with the lovely ladies last night was fun... its always a pleasure! I absolutely love nights or gatherings such as that where we can just relax and enjoy ourselves and speak our minds. I mean, we should always speak our minds anyhow... but its even better when you're with such a close knit group of friends whom you trust and feel safe to confide in. I can't say this enough... but I really am blessed with some of the greatest friends a girl can ever have. Not judgmental and accept me for all that I am... flaws included. Its safe to say, that these ladies are my role models in so many ways for so many reasons. Okay... I'll stop being such a sap since I know that they do check up on me and my blog from time to time... just to make sure I'm not causing too much havoc. Oh! And some (no names mentioned... haha) read my blog and is responsible for instigating and encouraging certain ruckus. Gotta love them for that... told you they're supportive of me... and sometimes my temper! ;)
I went to bed pretty late (again)... and woke up only a few hours later at 5am. I think I was still drunk although I only had about 2 glasses of wine last night. I guess my tolerance had gone down drastically considering I've only consumed alcohol a couple times this year... and we're a quarter into the year already! I like it better this way anyhow!
So here I was, half drunk and half alseep... posting away on KC! Man... I really do need an intervention as someone told me a few days ago... and this was coming from a stranger! But be proud of me... the first step to fixing a problem is acknowledging the problem. I acknowledge it alright... and so does everyone else who remind me that I have issues... everyday! Its my stream to the outside world and many worlds I can only wish and dream of experiencing for myself. Besides, if it wasn't for this internet revolution we've became so accustomed to, how else would I meet so many wonderful people that I've been in contact with for many days, months, and years? I'm not just talking about people we exchange few words with... I'm talking about the friends that will listen to you and tell you exactly what you need to hear. Brutal or not. Far more than just "online buddies" as some may see it. They're real. Our friendships are real.
So really... can you blame me?
