I feel bad for talking back to my Momma sometimes. I can't help it. It seems like every time she sees my face, she's in a bad mood and talks about all these negative things. HAHA! I guess its not THAT bad, but we always bump heads. I think we were a lot closer when I wasn't living at home. Distance really does make the heart grow fonder.
Confession: I don't know how I'm going to leave my Parents when it comes down to moving time. :(
I know how you feel ... I had to confront my mom yesterday in front of my older brother. They were getting on my case about me moving to Korea, and my mom had the nerve to compare her job to the job in Korea, saying she makes more money then me in a month, and how am I suppose to live with a salary like that. So I just snapped, in a nice way, telling her that cost of living is different and I will significantly save a lot of money because accommodations are free. I told her why do you have to always be negative and try to make every choice I make so low. And I hate my older brother for ganging up on me with her, both of them are negative and I just don't want to be in that kind of environment anymore. That's why I can't wait to leave, I think my relationship with my mom was better when we were not living together, like when I use to live in San Diego on my own. Yes I guess distance makes the heart grow fonder. I don't get Cambodian parents sometimes. And ... by the way you need to come back to livejournal. :P Well I need to update since it's been a while. hahah Alright have fun in Florida.
ReplyDeleteOMG... its bad enough that your Parent is giving you a hard time, but its even worse when a sibling jumps on the bandwagon! Trust me... I know what thats like. Ugh. Just wanna slap them! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think your Mom and Bro are just worried for you and probably already know that they're going to miss you... though they would NEVER admit it straight forward. Its only natural for them to be concerned about you moving so far away to a foreign country that even they know nothing about (I assume). Its all good though. Just prove them wrong and make them eat their words! :D
When are you leaving?
BTW... I'm so over LJ! Haha... that was sooooooo 2008 and 2000 late! Wuahahhaha!
Oh I am leaving in August, I'm waiting to hear from other locations too like Seoul, Incheon. I am kind of nervous, anxious at the same time.
