Awake. Alive. Refreshed.

I woke up this morning feeling much better than I have felt in over a week.  Thank goodness for my Husband, my phone, TV, old magazines, and antibiotics for keeping me company during the yucky times.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am back!  I would say that I am back in full force, but that would be a lie.  However, I am trying to get there.

Much to catch up on... the reading AND the writing and everything in between.

This weekend, I plan to relax and spend as much time with my family and friends as I can.  All weekends should be like this, right?

What are YOUR plans for the weekend?  Are you sitting there with a nice hot cup of coffee like I am?  Awake since 6am on a Saturday afternoon?  If so... we have sooooo much in common!

Please excuse my 'Just Rolled Out of Bed... Literally' look. LOL

*hugs*

  1. Welcome back!
May complete convalescence quickly come a calling.

I wound up doing a weird mixture of things this weekend.
Since I'm the lightest in my family I wound up clambering up on the roof to fix the antennae and some broken tiles... Then got invited by a friend to a weightlifting gym... Never been to one before. It was a bizarre parallel universe full of slow beefy men busy ogling (me , each other, and mostly themselves) and clanking their Rosicrucian machines.
Really was not my cup of tea, but it was fun to try all those things... It's like a playground for grown ups, except the rides aren't as fun and you don't get to ride any spinny things.

  2. Alesa... sounds like you had quite an adventure filled weekend. I used to be the one climbing the roof to take off our Christmas lights and stuff... no fun, but sometimes I just wanted to stay there and people watch. Beefy men checking themselves out? What a turn off!

Thanks Sienna... I am glad I am feeling better too. *hugs*

  3. The most important thing to me besides actually getting my skinny ass out of bed in the morning is to have a hot mug of tea. If I don't have my tea, the day will go drastically awry. (In my head it will, anyway! :)

    XX.
    Mae Lu, thereafterish.
